Nepali cricketer duo Sandeep Lamichhane and Dipendra Singh Airee advanced with their respective teams in the Global T20 League 2023 in Canada. 

Sandeep's team Surrey Jaguars topped the table and advanced to the Qualifier. Meanwhile, Dipendra's Montreal Tigers finished third falling behind net run-rate to Vancouver Knights. 



Surrey Jaguars will take on Vancouver Knights for a place in the final. Similarly, Montreal Tigers will play against Brampton Wolves in Eliminator 1. The winner of Eliminator 1 will play against the loser of Qualifier 1.

The Qualifier 1 will be played on Friday at 8:45 PM at  CAA Centre, Brampton. 

So far in the tournament, Sandeep Lamichhane has taken 10 wickets and currently the third highest wicket taker in the tournament. Out of five matches played, Sandeep was awarded with 'Moment of the Match' in three occasions and was adjusted 'Man of the Match' in final group match. 

On the other hand, Dipendra Singh Airee has been instrumental with the bat for the Montreal Tigers. He has made 102 runs so far in the tournament and is the third highest run scorer for his team. He has also grabbed 1 wicket with the ball. 

Montreal Tigers will play against Brampton Wolves on Sathurday Morning at 1:15 am.
