In the second of two Euro 2024 last-16 matches on Saturday, hosts Germany will take on Denmark at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, with a late kickoff.

Julian Nagelsmann's squad secured the top spot in Group A, easing their way into the knockout rounds. Meanwhile, Denmark claimed second place in a less memorable Group C.

Germany's coach, Julian Nagelsmann, maintained the same starting XI for all three of their Group A matches. However, he will need to make at least one change this time, as Jonathan Tah is suspended due to accumulating two yellow cards.

Additionally, Antonio Rudiger, Tah's regular partner in central defense, has been struggling with a hamstring issue and missed training earlier this week. There is hope that Rudiger will be fit to lead Germany's defense alongside Nico Schlotterbeck. Robin Koch and Waldemar Anton are ready to step in if necessary.

Niclas Füllkrug's goal off the bench against Switzerland gives Nagelsmann more attacking options, but Kai Havertz is expected to retain his place in the lineup.

Denmark's head coach, Kasper Hjulmand, also has to deal with a suspension, as Sporting Lisbon midfielder Morten Hjulmand is sidelined due to yellow card accumulation.

However, Hjulmand has several capable replacements, including Brentford's Christian Norgaard and Mathias Jensen, as well as Thomas Delaney, who returned from illness to play against Serbia.

Up front, Jonas Wind's recent performances have been underwhelming since his assist for Christian Eriksen against Slovenia. Andreas Skov Olsen, Kasper Dolberg, or Yussuf Poulsen may challenge for his starting spot.

Germany's possible starting lineup:

Neuer; Kimmich, Schlotterbeck, Rudiger, Mittelstadt; Kroos, Andrich; Musiala, Gundogan, Wirtz; Havertz.

Denmark's possible starting lineup:

Schmeichel; Andersen, Christensen, Vestergaard; Bah, Hojbjerg, Delaney, Maehle; Eriksen; Hojlund, Wind.
