The grand finale of the first edition of Nepal Premier League is all set to be played between two brilliant teams, Sudurpaschim Royals and Janakpur Bolts, to be played on December 21.
Sudurpaschim has lost just a solitary match in their pathway to the final. Whereas, the Bolts have lost three matches, out of which two of them come against the Sudurpaschim Roylas.
The Royals defeated the Bolts during the league stage. The met each other in the qualifier 1 and the Bolts lost again. However, the Bolts was able to make it into the final after defeating Karnali Yaks in the Qualifier 2.
The much more balanced side Sudurpachim Royals will be the favorite once again with Bolts solely relying on James Neesham in batting. Their bowling has been exceptional with Lalit Rajbanshi currently leading the wicket taker list. However, their batter hasn't been upto the mark in last few matches.
Losing skipper Anil Sah in the important knock out matches was unfortunate for the Janakpur Bolts.
For the Royals, their star allrounder Dipendra Singh Airee will be on the spotlight with his 3D role in the final as well.
