Nepal is hosting the first ever international match under the floodlights at TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.

After the instllation of Parapets and Floodlights at TU Cricket Ground, no any international matches have been played. NPL 2026 was conducted under the floodlights.

The historic T20I series consists of two matches against the United Arab Emirates. The first match will be played on 20th April whereas the second match will be played on 21st April. Both the matches will start at 5 pm in the evening.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced Khalti as the ticketing partner of the series with ticket price set for Nrs. 750 for all the sections.

Squad

Team Nepal will be led by Dipendra Singh Airee as the regular skipper Rohit Paudel has been dropped from the T20I squad. Therefore, Dipendra Singh Airee is announced as the new skipper for the shorter format. Similarly, Aasif Sheikh, Karan KC and Sompal Kami are also dropped from the T20I squad.
